With the arrival of Winter the Bergenfield Police Department reminds residents that snow must be removed from sidewalks within 24-hours of the end of the storm.
If the snow is not removed within 24-hours a borough ordinance summons may be issued to the property owner. It is also a borough ordinance violation to throw snow into the roadway. Please direct the snow onto your property when shoveling, or using a snow blower.
